Celebrating Success: Randpark Club Charity Mixed Open

by | Jul 31, 2023

It was a humbling and awe-inspiring Sunday as our members and guests came together for a superb cause at this year’s Charity Mixed Open. The event, dedicated to supporting Conserv Earth, a charity committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and safely reintroducing pangolins back into their natural habitat, was a resounding success.

Under the winter’s chill, the air was filled with camaraderie, enthusiasm, and a shared passion for making a positive impact on our environment and the incredible pangolins.

A round of applause goes to the winners:
Bushwillow – Paul Ferreira, Caleb Martin, Valda Ford and Carol Primes – 85
Firethorn – Alan Buttle, Chris Buttle, Penny Taylor and Megan Buttle – 82

In addition to the exciting golfing action, the raffle draw added an extra element of excitement to the day. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the lucky winner of the draw, Elana Jansen, who walked away with an incredible prize.

Beyond the golfing prowess, and raffle excitement, what truly made the day extraordinary was the collective effort from all participants and donors to raise funds for Conserv Earth. These funds will play a vital role in supporting the charity’s mission.

A special thank-you goes out to every individual who contributed to the success of the event. Also, thanks to Chris Forrest who kept the crowd in laughter and did a superb job on our auction items. Whether you were a player, sponsor, or staff member, your involvement made a meaningful difference. The overwhelming support from our members and the community at large was truly heartwarming and reflective of our shared commitment to conservation.

Once again, congratulations to all the winners and thank you to everyone involved for making the event an unforgettable success. Let’s continue to unite in our efforts to protect and preserve our environment and the incredible wildlife it harbours. Together, we can make a difference.
